Restoration of a Historic Building in Jūrmala, Sloka
As part of this project, a historic wooden building, constructed around the 1950s in Sloka, Jūrmala, was fully restored.
New stormwater drainage and sewage networks were installed, along with water supply and domestic sewage systems.
The building's foundations were made of fieldstones, but the original binding material had started to deteriorate. The existing foundations were reinforced.
The building's façade was restored and repainted. The original windows and wooden shutters were preserved, restored, and repainted.
Inside the building, the wooden paneling with plaster was removed. Walls where the exposed wood was well preserved were restored and varnished. A new solid wood plank floor was installed over the old concrete slab.
The historical stoves and their chimneys were restored.
