Reconstruction of a Historic Bridge over the Bebrene River with Restoration of Fieldstone Retaining Walls

As part of this project, a historic bridge with fieldstone retaining walls over the Bebrene River was fully restored.

All surface layers were completely dismantled down to the superstructure panels.

The concrete slope and expansion joints were renewed, a new asphalt surface was laid, and new railings were installed.

The concrete substructure was fully restored, and a new stormwater collection and drainage system was constructed.

The fieldstone walls and embankments were rebuilt, including full joint restoration.

The project concluded with surrounding area landscaping and site improvements.
