Construction of Transformer Foundations in the Ķegums Hydroelectric Power Station Area
As part of this project, the old concrete foundations were dismantled, and new foundations were constructed for a 100T oil transformer in the Ķegums Hydroelectric Power Station area.
The work included excavation of the construction pit, installation of a crushed stone base, application of a welded HDPE membrane for separation, reinforcement binding, formwork installation, and concrete pouring.
After the transformer installation, an oil pit was constructed and filled with granite gravel. Landscaping works in the area included the application of topsoil and lawn seeding.
Additionally, a new stormwater drainage system was installed, including a pumping station and oil interceptors.
