Bridge Reconstruction over the Viesīte River in Aizkraukle Municipality

As part of this project, the bridge over the Viesīte River in Aizkraukle Municipality was fully restored.

The existing bridge span and transition slab were completely dismantled down to the columns.

A new reinforced concrete span with cantilevered railings, new transition slabs, a new carriageway, and an asphalt surface were installed.

New railings were mounted, a stormwater collection and drainage system was constructed, and landscaping works in the surrounding area were completed.
